Logos, Designs And Usage

Thanks for your interest in our brand's assets! We'd love for you to use them!

Before we get to the good stuff, here's some guidelines for how to use our assets. Please only use the assets in the manner described here.

Usage Guidelines

Colors

We love our colors. So we hope you'll use the versions of our designs that incorporate them. However, if our colored designs clash with your work, you may use the monochromatic black or white versions of our designs.

Using the monochromatic designs

The monochromatic versions of our designs come with a transparent background. Please be considerate of how you overlay our designs. For example:

  • The white version should only be used over a dark background.
  • The black version should only be used over a light background.

If you are not able to seat our designs in a way that makes them clear and well-defined, please contact us. We are very committed to ensuring our brand is represented well in all mediums.

  • If you want to use these images in a video or mainstream media.
  • If you want to use these images in news media.
  • If you are unable to leverage our existing artwork due to a technical or design issue.

Naming projects and products

Please avoid naming your projects anything that implies Appalachia Interactive's endorsement. This also applies to domain names.

Global Usage Guidelines

Good stuff!

  • We appreciate and support bona fide and fair use of our designs.
  • Use these designs to represent us, support us, and link to us.
  • Use these designs in blog posts and social media posts, and articles about Appalachia Interactive.
  • We hope you'll help make us look our best! Please ensure our designs look appropriately sized, clear, and not distorted.

Bad stuff!

  • Modification of our designs is not allowed. Contact us to propose color adjustments to integrate with your setting.
  • Sale of our designs is not allowed.
  • Incorporating our design into your logo or designs is not allowed.
  • Creating derivative works from our designs is not allowed.
  • Representing an entity other than Appalachia Interactive with our designs is not allowed.​

The Designs

SQUIRREL BLOCK LOGO

  • Use in most settings. Ensure the text is as readable as other text in the setting.
  • Do not use in settings where the text can not be read clearly.

SQUIRREL NARROW LOGO

  • Use in settings where the layout restricts vertical space, or when it is a visual improvement over the Squirrel Block Logo.
  • Do not use in settings where the text can not be read clearly.

SQUIRREL LOGO

  • Use this logo only where economy of space for a logo reasonably demands it – in other words, when using the Squirrel Block Logo or Squirrel Narrow Logo would result in it looking too small, unclear, or distorted.
  • Do not use to create a new variation of Squirrel Block Logo or Squirrel Narrow Logo.

SQUIRREL ICON

  • Use this logo only where economy of space for a logo reasonably demands it – in other words, when using the Squirrel Block Logo or Squirrel Narrow Logo would result in it looking too small, unclear, or distorted.
  • Use this logo only when using the Squirrel Logo would result in it looking “too small,” unclear, or distorted.
